Caitlyn and John’s Kendall Point wedding took place on a gorgeous Texas day. This made for some absolutely stunning golden hour portraits (for real, scroll down for those!) at one of our favorite Hill Country wedding venues.

We worked closely with Caitlyn and her mom leading up to the big day and they had perfectly designed Caitlyn’s modern, elegant, black and white wedding. Not a single detail was forgotten or dismissed. It.was.everything. Since their big day, Caitlyn has actually joined the Scarlet Rose team, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her!

Caitlyn wore a stunning Allison Webb gown from Stanley Korshak. With a background in fashion design, it was so fitting that her gown was displayed in a beautiful sketch from the artist herself! We love this added detail and think it should be the new normal for all brides to have a sketch of their wedding dress, don’t you?!

Private Moments at Kendall Point Wedding

After the sweetest dress reveal to her bridesmaids (no one other than her sister knew what her dress looked like!), it was time for Caitlyn and John to exchange letters. The two shared a private prayer moment together before the ceremony at their Kendall Point wedding. Shannon from Sloane Photography captured all of the emotion that day so beautifully. If you’re looking for your wedding photographer still, we highly recommend her!

Soon after, it was time to get our girl married! I think we can all agree, there is nothing more iconic than the walk down the steps of KP to the ceremony site.

We love seeing portraits from right after the ceremony when you’re officially married! There’s such a weight lifted off of everyone’s shoulders. The nerves are gone, and it’s all happy smiles!

Kendall Point Wedding Details

Caitlyn said herself that some of her favorite wedding moments were seeing the design come together! They planned a gorgeous, modern black and white (with accents of gold!) wedding. We were able to add to that design with some Scarlet Rose Collective pieces, including this photo backdrop. Caitlyn mentioned wanting to incorporate a checkered pattern, but we took it up a notch with the inclusion of mirrored gold acrylic squares as well. It will go down as a fave of ours for sure!

Pro tip: if you want to ensure a great guest experience, think about a secondary bar! We built and customized this chic black bar and included their monogram in gold to match the aesthetic.

The reception was full of fun and dancing, with Ice House Band putting on a great performance! At the end of the night, the pair left in a classic car, a fitting way to cap off such a beautiful night. Cheers to the Sells and their Kendall Point wedding!
