Claudina + Alex | San Antonio Wedding Planner
Claudina + Alex’s gorgeous St. Anthony wedding in downtown San Antonio was everything. It was beautiful, it was full of luscious florals. It was executed with intention to celebrate with their close family and friends. We were honored to be a part of it, and are happy to finally share this gorgeous day with you!
These two met in high school: she said he had the sweetest dimples, and he said she had sparkly eyes. With both navigating through collegiate life, careers, moves and more, Claudina said their consistency in their live is their greatest strength. On wedding day they exchanged letters before their first look, and there could not be a better background than the iconic Peacock Alley at the St. Anthony Hotel downtown.

We asked Claudina about some of her favorite wedding day details, and to no surprise, the florals from Eden’s Echo was a fave! The team at Eden’s Echo nailed the vision they were going for: timeless, romantic, classic, elegant.
Another favorite moment of the day? Their private first dance following a room reveal. After seeing the vision come to life in the Anacacho Ballroom at the St. Anthony, these two shared a private first dance. We don’t see this happen much in weddings, but it’s something we are going to tell our couples about for the future! Seeing these photos from Monica Roberts Photography and just how happy and at ease they looked made our day.
this St. Anthony wedding had the sweetest details
Claudina told us herself, she’s a big words person. “I believe that people should be told how cherished they are.” Coming up with their guestbook idea – messages in a bottle to be read at future anniversaries – was something she knows will forever be a favorite detail of their big day. We absolutely love this idea: being able to read letters, advice, and see handwriting from those they love that were able to attend their special day for years and years to come.
Additional special details include the cake serving set and Alex’s groom’s cake decor. Claudina’s grandmother passed down this silver cake set, which was so special since she couldn’t attend their big day but watched on Zoom from Peru. Alex’s family is originally from Canada (and where the two got engaged), so the woodsy groom’s cake was the perfect touch.
Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without a timeless, iconic goodbye down the beautiful Peacock Alley. So happy for you both, and so grateful we were a part of this special day!
