We can hardly believe it! We’re so grateful to have wrapped up a full year as your fave friendly, marg-loving San Antonio wedding planner! While this industry and wedding planning is by no means new to me, it means the freaking world to have had such wonderful vendor and client support this last year. We closed out a wild 365 days with 28 weddings, a proposal, and three styled shoots with some of the best people in our corner. Not to mention added a whole new division of the biz with Scarlet Rose Collective!

In one year, 50 clients trusted us to be their planner, confidant, designer, problem-solver, you-name-it-we-do-it and added us to their vendor list. We don’t take any of this for granted.💛 Cue ‘Seasons of Love’ from Rent, because we’re about to show you how you measure a year in the life of a wedding planner! Hit it, DJ!

While we don’t have photos from every wedding and couple we worked with the last year, what we can kick off this blog with is a gorgeous styled shoot! Ivette West Photography reached out to us to help plan and design this editorial at Chandelier of Gruene. It was everything our bright, colorful, boho hearts could have imagined! Later in the summer we got to work with Brook + Luke for their long awaited wedding day. As the 4th couple in a family/friend group we’ve worked with, it was a little reunion seeing them all together again!

San Antonio Wedding Planner | Austin Wedding Planner

From Park31 to Lost Mission to Hidden Falls and Geronimo Oaks, our summer was full of gorgeous wedding celebrations! Our couples navigated 2020 like champs, and for many it was a celebration a long time coming! Like Tess and Zach, who were literally born on the same day in the (get this!) SAME hospital. Talk about a destined couple! We kicked off our fall season with Emma and Ethan and are forever obsessed with their pictures. You can spot them in a few places around the website, too!

We kicked off the latter part of 2020 with Claudina and Alex’s wedding at the beautiful St. Anthony hotel. We had the perfect Plan B for Mackensie and Dalton at Canyonwood Ridge in Austin, TX, and you KNOW how much we loved David and Jaden’s wedding at Park31.

We kicked off the new year with Holly and Christian out at one of our favorite Hill Country venues, Kendall Point. Then we finally celebrated Melanie and Jordan after a postponed 2020 wedding. And peep that champagne wall debut! The color game was STRONG for Caitlin and Oliver. And then Cortney and Kyle’s garden-style wedding made our designer hearts SO happy.

We could not be more grateful for all of those that surrounded us with love and support this first year of Scarlet Rose. From the bottom of my heart, I’m so freaking thankful. You better believe there will be some margaritas to celebrate! Cheers!
