As a full-service Austin and San Antonio wedding planner, we are so lucky to work with 80+ couples a year to plan and design their perfect wedding day. One of the best things about wedding planning is that no two weddings are ever the same. Every couple, every family unit, every design – they are all uniquely their own. That being said, there are definitely certain traits in all of our couples that make them an ideal Scarlet Rose client. What are those you may be asking? Okay, maybe you’re not asking that, but we’re going to tell you below anyway! 😉
they appreciate the details
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it time and time again: we.love.details. From the family heirlooms used during flatlays or tied to your bouquet, to the custom bar napkins with fun facts about the two of you – these things matter. We promise! The reason our design questionnaire is as detailed as it is helps as gather all of the unique details about the two of you as a couple. We want to know more about the family that shaped you. Your background, your culture, your traditions. It’s all a large part of how we begin our design process. Pro tip: hire a photographer who is just as excited about the details as you are, because then they’ll capture them perfectly.
they are FUN
Without a doubt, some of my favorite photos to see in wedding day galleries are ones with our couples smiling, laughing. Having the time of their lives. That’s what we were hired to create – the space and ability for you to make those memories. And we take that job pretty damn seriously. So yes, our couples are FUN. They’re light-hearted, they maybe enjoy a cocktail or two during planning meetings, they’ll be on the dance floor singing Beyoncé with their besties. Because we value this trait in our clients, we ensure that you get all the fun you want on wedding day!
Our Ideal Clients | Austin Wedding Planner
they have a strong family value
We wouldn’t be the people we are today, if not for those who raised us. Our parents, grandparents, family-figures, and those who have had impact on our lives shape us and our partners. Scarlet Rose couples know the value of family, and find ways to honor them on their wedding day. We don’t necessarily mean in a showy or random way. But through small design moments, photographs taken, or moments had together. I once heard a vendor describe wedding day as ‘the only day that every single one of the individuals present will all be in the same space together.’ We want to honor that moment, and so do SR clients.
they like to try things outside of the box
Whether it’s a distinct design moment, a funny reception memory, a ceremony ritual that’s important to them – our couples do things their way. And okay, maybe they also trust us when we talk about building some brand new backdrop for them. But it’s because of this willingness to make their experience unique for them, unique for their guests, that our weddings stand out. And we wouldn’t have it any other way🖤
they realize at the end of the day…they’ll be married. and that is the most important thing
If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that sometimes the little things don’t matter. Looking at the big picture, what matters the most at the end of the day is that you and your person have made this next step in your life together. What matters most is the memories you made, and the memories you’re going to make after wedding day. So while we love a good flower install and specialty linens and flatware, we love LOVE more. And so do our SR clients. You can see it in their faces, hear it in their vows. It’s that can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars over the fence, world series kind of love. And if you know that movie quote – you REALLY need to work with us, cause you’re our people!
If you’re looking for a San Antonio or Austin wedding planner and you love LOVE and value the things above like we do, reach out! We’d love to learn more about you.
