Kirsten and Brett’s long-anticipated wedding day finally came and the floral, designs, and photography of the day were what dreams were made of for this San Antonio and Austin wedding planner! Being a 2020 reschedule, that meant we had more time to hone in on some design and custom pieces from Scarlet Rose Collective. And boy did we take advantage of this!
There were so many personal, sweet details with this wedding day. Both Kirsten and Brett’s brothers officiated their ceremony. It was the perfect combination of a funny, intimate, and meaningful ceremony message. If ever we’re short an officiant on wedding day, I’m calling you two! Kirsten told us that when the two of them got engaged, not only did Brett ask her father for his blessing, but he also asked her mother, three sisters, and brother. Family values are strong with this group, and we could tell from the moment we met them all on wedding day. Everyone was an absolute DREAM, and we wish we could relive this day over and over.

Black and White Wedding Design
When Kirsten and Brett had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding day, that just meant more time for design work for us! Their wedding had one of our biggest amount of Collective pieces and installs to date, and we are so grateful they gave us the opportunity to create gorgeous details for them! We honored some of their favorite people (both human and fur type) with their custom gold-mirrored bar menu and cocktail napkins. Our champagne wall with ‘bubbles’ neon rental turned into an evening brownie bar with our popular ‘to us’ neon. But our favorite items we created were their modern black and white seating chart install and custom table ‘numbers.’ Rather than use traditional numbers, these two opted to showcase some of their very favorite things. Cabaret and chocolate milk…need I say more?! And can we TALK about that floral canopy install from Evember?? Such a statement piece!

We had so much fun watching these two have the night of their lives with their closest friends and family. While the two had a smaller wedding than originally anticipated, Kirsten said it was amazing because they could have special conversations with each guest. From heartfelt speeches to a group photo to kick off the dance floor to a private last dance and sparkling grand exit – it.was.everything. And then some.
